So your argument is that Dems needed to destroy the Senate before Republicans had the chance to? Bottom line - we will never know, but we do know that Sen Dems made it really easy to pull the nuke option trigger on the "unconstitutional" filibuster of nominations. #ThanksHarry

No my argument is that we had to destroy it to overcome GOP obstruction at the time and confirm a reasonable number of noms. If we hadn’t McConnell would have more vacancies to fill now. And McConnell would have immediately gone nuclear immediately on all judges when he took over
