Maybe raising the minimum wage would have made it easier for working folks to deal with inflation? It’s worth 40% less than it was in 1968 & 27% less than 2009. You could try doing something to help working class people, but I suppose it’s easier to complain & do nothing.

If you didn’t get a 10 percent raise in the last year, then you’ve gotten a de facto pay cut. That’s what Democrats have given to Americans, a pay cut.

Challenge him on wages. Every. Single. Time. When healthcare costs increase. That's a pay cut. Yet he constantly votes to undermine the ACA. When energy prices rise, that's a pay cut. He stays idle when companies invest in shareholders. Not workers or consumers.

...if you spend 100% of your income on items that increased 10%. However...fixed rate mortgages, student loan payments car payments, and money that you didn't spend were not impacted. 10% inflation doesn't mean that we spend 10% more on everything. But you know that.

Raise the minimum wage, which increases costs for companies, which increases the price for products and goods (for everyone), which eats up the pay increase (if you got one). Zero accomplishment. Brilliant plan.
