I felt the same way about Greg. His work was so conscientious, empathetic and wise. He was truly a great journalist.
And I always enjoyed getting him to talk about California driving - he sounded like an SNL skit. It made me smile.
Anyway, this is heartbreaking.

I’ve never known anyone as universally respected and admired as Greg. Everybody he dealt with considered him a stellar journalist and an even better human being.
