So if russia was going to invade us and trump knew about it would he call it a hoax so we don't panic?
The thing that gets me is that he can downplay the threat to the public, but behind the scenes why wasn't he pushing preparation? Why wasn't PPE production ramped up? Why weren't testing policies developed. That is what a responsible person who knew of a danger would do.

Yep. The best leadership in the world did quick aggressive quarantining, contact tracing, & early testing. Japan did this, & their total deaths = our DAILY deaths! The way to keep a nation from panicking would be to take RIGHT ACTION, not to MOCK those taking it seriously.
