The 2nd Dakar Financing Summit for Africa’s Infrastructure Development began on Wednesday, with 69 projects worth over 160 billion USD presented. The is the lead financier on the projects and hopes to have them completed by 2030.

In Georgia we invested a total of €218 million in 2022 providing support to the private sector helping to promote a more inclusive, greener and digitalised economy. 61% of investments in 2022 were in support of green economy.

IMF President discussed climate financing initiatives with leaders in Africa on Wednesday, affirming the IMF’S support for financing climate policies in developing countries through the new Resilience and Sustainability Facility.
Another new member at BWC: DeAnne Julius, Senior Adviser, and Distinguished Fellow, Global Economy and Finance Programme. DeAnne is an expert on global economic issues and international relations. We appreciate her support, and we look forward to her engagement!

BWC member Pierre Viaud appears in the next, February issue of Défense Nationale. “Uncontrolled displacements of populations... are reversible thanks to a coordinated action of world governance, in particular through the IFIs resulting from the Bretton Woods treaty," he writes.
