    Ridiculous. ~90% of researchers polled think SARS2 is likely/very likely *to become* endemic. Interesting. But not the same as the factual claim “coronavirus is (already) here to stay”. Also: science isn’t ‘what experts think’. It’s a method that corrects what experts think.

    ‘Fauci lied to Congress’ is going in the ‘Things I was right about’ column.

    This camera angle doesn't allow us to see if Dr. Fauci's pants are on fire, or if his fingers are crossed, but do note his sense of urgency in replacing his mask at the end, presumably to conceal his suddenly expanding nose. 🤞, 👃^2 👖 🔥

    I appreciate the willingness to admit the error in judgment, Colin. I should point out, however, that some of us knew these were not “the adults” restoring reason. The price for saying so was high. It isn’t the last such revelation.

    Sometimes, things that seem obvious end up being woefully incorrect. When your job is to prognosticate, you won't always be right. It's not something a lot of people understand. Many of us thought the 'adults' would be back in Washington. We were totally wrong. So we adjust.
