You paint with too broad of a brush when you talk about "Democrats" as if all Democrats are exactly the same when it comes to what they think. I really wish you would knock that off. But if wishes were fishes we would all have a fry I suppose.

Who and what are the worthy dispossessed? Can you direct me to some clarified source for enlightenment? Please and thank you!

I don't think you'll address environmental stewardship without addressing consumerism and a whole bunch of western "ideals" at a fairly fundamental level, western human culture has distanced itself from the ecosystem it's part of, it's insanity.
-
Arguably, consumerism and detachment from nature is a byproduct of urbanization, not Western ideals.
-
The main culprit is the fiat money enabled fractional reserve banking system that promotes endless debt like a drug. The IDW are missing out on a massive opportunity that's staring them in the face with this. I'm hoping one day someone high ranking will respond and listen. :)

You talk about how the Dems have failed, does this imply the Republicans have succeeded? Or is it simply the Right does not claim to represent the dispossessed, worthy or not? And when did parties made up of millions of people suddenly become simply two homogenized individuals?
-
1973 is when the Democratic Party stopped being anything but a top-down organization. That's when they revised their charter & bylaws to prevent another nominee like George McGovern. It's worked great for the party establishment; they haven't nominated a single Progressive since.

Sorry what? There's nearly as many business models as there are businesspeople in my experience (though sure archetypes exist). Maybe the way you vote influences your ethics, but surely democrats use 1000s of models. Just like republicans.

There in lies their problem. The inability to offer anything other than victimhood. We need strength not weakness. Our society has become obsessed with being weak and the result is more and more weakness and leading to more votes, but a nation in constant distress.
-
Yes, anything you dislike is victimhood.
-
But comments like yours drive moderates away. They make it so that we are unwilling to vote for Democrats, that we are afraid that what we are doing is electing those that will not respect and reason with their opponents.
-
Cool. It's really not my job to coral votes for the Democrats.
-
Then what is the goal? See in politics there are two people, those that want their way and those that want their say. Those that want their say make noise, but are eventually ignored by both sides. The reason is that they have no interest in the actual result.
-
The goal on twitter? An exchange of ideas.

WTF are you talking about? The GOP rolled back dozens of environmental regulations in the last 12 months, and tried to purge the EPA of scientists. Literally just today they nixed habitats for endangered species, and this is today's tweet? You're irresponsible.

Democrats exist within a system. We need to redesign the system if we want better results. Right now we are getting exactly what the system of media and politics is designed for: moral outrage.
