Left/Right view merely leads to bigger statist tyranny. How do we push toward individual liberty instead?
That's not quite right. But let's agree that idealy we should seek the minimal structure necessary to maximize meaningful individual liberty. For that we'd need to retool. Given the current structure, left and right serve to check + balance each other's blind spots and excesses.

That was a bit obscure. Sorry. I'm suggesting that thinking of the issue in terms of the L/R paradigm is unhelpful. Re-tool is good but easier to do if we understand the problem better. IMO can't use the state to fix the problem when it IS the problem.
I get your point, and I don't disagree. But that destructive structure is serving a function. It would be great to eliminate the need for the function, but we can't just wish it away.
If "destructive structure" is the state, I agree. Push back that structure until discover essential components. Plenty of work there for now. That's what I try to do in libertarian movement (party) in my own small way.
