I should make one. I think the whole case is pretty easy to lay out. It can be done so the description is impartial, and each side can understand the necessity of the other.

Left doesn't have to involve more government at all. For example, many leftists are "libertarian" when its comes to social rights.

In the absence of clear definitions, I tend to think of "the left" as broadly collectivist and "the right" as broadly individualist.

Peterson made a simple distinction that was pretty good- the left exists to prevent hierarchy corruption and to stand for the dispossessed. The right stands for order and necessary traditions.
