Aren't the organizers all current/former Columbia graduate students themselves? Faculty aren't involved in the Medievalist Toolkit, at least not when I was there.
Yes and I've emailed them hoping we can figure out a way to still do this that doesn't cross the picket line (probably by rescheduling?)
Up until this week, events like this weren't considered crossing a picket line since it's a thing grad students were putting together in their free time, not university teaching duties.
