I find it really difficult to parse dialogue in a lot of more recent stuff and I frankly find it very frustrating. I realize the old theater-style delivering-for-the-back-row feels artificial, but in most cases I think I'd prefer it.

I mean, I sure hope so, I'd hate to have to <mumble mumble mumble> the whole <giant Hans Zimmer sting> and then <comedic unintelligible cross talk> until <more Hans Zimmer> and walk away confused.
