In my defense, I am the guy hanging out the 'Come learn Greek and Latin!' sign. As an educator - particularly at a public school - I see part of my job as democratizing traditional class markers. But you can't democratize Swarthmore.
Also I will note that I also tweeted with untranslated Latin and a direct quote from Pride and Prejudice, neither of which seems to have given you the slightest bit of pause apparently. οἱ πολλοί, we are not.
