It's so very frustrating. Go back not very long ago and conservatives used to claim to be for all of those things! They were all about volunteerism and civic organizations and community that didn't involve government mandates.

I think most of the people I'm talking about would continue to claim they care deeply about their families (and their right to make choices about what happens within that family). As to the rest though people will tell you straight out "you can't make that my problem"
