In short, the game actually simulates a fog of war.And it's kind of brilliant. In most games, the 'fog of war' is just a binary: you can see perfectly where your units are and not at all where they aren't. Highfleet forces you to deal with variable and uncertain information.
Durable enough to take big hits (at least before the AP changes come through, if they do), but fast enough to dodge almost anything. Flare launcher top and bottom so missiles aren't such a worry. And the guns can rumble with anything short of a Nomad or Varyag.

Range is terrible, but pair with a Skylark. Downside is you have fairly short in-combat air-time. I deployed these in pairs to mitigate that.
