I've only been on Twitter for just under three years so when people say they don't want their timelines full of terrible tweets getting dunked on I literally have no idea what else they could be imagining happens on here

In fairness a complaint I see a lot is "I didn't carefully curate a Twitter feed of people I agree with just to see constant QTs and screenshots of people that suck." I think this is reasonable. But, counterpoint: that's EXACTLY why I curated a Twitter feed of people I agree with
I think people need to think in category terms of not only "people that suck" but also "people who QT people that suck but with whom I otherwise agree" and make assessments on that basis.
