That's part of what actually makes me excited to see what @PDX_Dev_Studio does with Victoria III. Because clearly I think a lot of Vicky2 actually works (I mean, when it works because nothing in Vicky2 works quite right all of the time)...
...because I think with a more effectively global framework, a Victoria game has a decent chance to be both a fun (and/or tortuously complex, but that's the same thing, right?) game but also a useful exercise to think about historical causation and the impacts on regular folks.
This has been a fun series of series. I purchased and am playing CK3 on strength of these reviews/analysis. @PDX_Dev_Studio
So I never played Vicky ii, I came into paradox through hearts of iron 4. But having read your series I'm very excited for Vicki 3. And for the possibilities of expansions in Stellaris.
