The idea that we're really supposed to be hysterical about the China video game time limit thing is so odd to me. If this exact story came out about Japan everybody would be like "checks out, those mfs do be gaming way too much"

One would also assume that if you wanted to argue that the PRC was an authoritarian state, you might focus on the genocide, religious suppression and sophisticated surveillance state. You know, that kills people. Rather than the video games.
