Netflix Cowboy Bebop thinks they can seduce me with eye-popping neon color compositions and frankly, if it were almost any other property, they'd be right
The images I saw looked a bit too universally neon? Like, the setting should be a jarring contrast of neon and bright (like the space-lane billboards) with run-down, rusted and beat up (like the places people actually live).

The contrast is the key, not the neon, nor the rust.

It doesn't really ape the visual style of the anime at all in the shots I've seen. There's an extent to which that's probably smart.
