#miltwitter hive-mind: what images do you picture when you think of consolidation of gains?

Hm. Are we thinking an image of gains *being* consolidated or of gains having been consolidated? For the latter, I feel like it's hard to beat AE1989.681, a Roman inscription setting out the port and customs taxes of the province of Asia including a list of collection points.
"Here are the places where you will deposit our gains, in perpetuity, or until we change the arrangement."
