I am only half-joking - I think it takes some presence and greatness of mind to write out a constitution but then explicitly set a mechanism by which subsequent generations would be free to alter practically any part of that constitution (except the senate, LOL, no one's perfect)
But using the 'vision of the framers' as a cudgel is a bit rich given that the actually articulated vision of the framers saves an entire article for how that vision could be amended.

not to mention many uses of purposely vague/elastic language like "necessary and proper," "cruel and unusual," "equal protection"...i do still think there is such a thing as reasonable originalism but it ain't gonna be simple
They also tend to outright ignore literally all the other writing of the founders. None of the letters, none of the treatise.
