Nice to be able to actually get that feedback that, yes in fact people are reading at least some of the things I write.

One thing I love about having my blog is that nothing I write there just vanishes - a few people are reading each page every day. Google Analytics lets me see people doing so in real-time. As I write this, I can see people working through Helm's Deep and the Dothraki.

Helms Deep and the Dothraki would be an interesting fight.

If it's the Dothraki of the books or the show against Helm's Deep, my money is on Helm's Deep, because the Dothraki are pretty incompetent nomads. The actual Mongols would utterly wreck both of them though.
