The new Dune posters are very funny to me because they are just the actors we already knew were in the movie looking pretty normal.

Even more so for those of us hoping beyond hope that they plan to push beyond the first novel. I actually think the miniseries got it right, that Children of Dune is the logical ending point for Paul Atreides saga.
Particularly because if you just stop with Dune, it is all too easy to fall into accepting Paul as a savoir figure while missing out on all of the stuff screaming "this will end poorly!" By the time you get to Children of Dune, it *has* ended poorly, and so is clearer on that.
