Neat! I also got a wave of traffic from Reddit the other day, I think because there was a discussion of tools that had been unchanged for a long time and folks were pointing to my discussion of how blade sheers for sheep haven't changed much in a few millennia.

I've re-read your Saruman articles before doing my Crusader Kings 3 Saruman playthrough (in a LotR mod). It didn't really help because CK3 doesn't portray Saruman's ineptitude (or aptitude) as a general, but it was a fun read nonetheless.
