I have to admit that since I came to UNC in 2013 the sequence of national-headline-level rakes upon which the institution has stepped has been nothing short of impressive

And a few years earlier too, when the athletics scandal first broke. Don't forget, they brought Folt in as a crisis manager - and boy did she manage a lot of crises. Some were even not of her own making!

Yeah that was the first one I was around for, incredible stuff. I got a certain bleak humor from thinking that she probably intended to take a break from the crisis management business when she took over USC (immediately before Varsity Blues)

My assumption is that she was hired by USC precisely because they knew that Varsity Blues was about to break and needed a crisis manager. And I mean, she did such a good job at UNC!
