There is something strangely melancholy about how Percy (the cat), being an indoor cat occasionally presents me with one of his toys as a trophy of his conquests. I mean, I'm glad not to be given dead birds...but it's still sort of sad that Percy can only play-act the hunter.
Also, given how clingy these cats get when the better half is back at the office for a single day, I can only imagine their tiny anxiety when fall comes and we're both on campus multiple days of the week.
