I'll try to hold out ;) When you say Romans portrayed in media, this is always what jumps to the front of my brain
It does fit with the overall tendency for Anglophone media to represent the Romans with white British actors.

Though these are, notably, Jews. MP was of course all Brits, but seem to have cast their Romans with more posh accents.
