LOL at twitter, which keeps asking me "don't you want to enable push notifications." No. No I do not. In part because I remember the time I went to bed and woke up with 5,000 retweets.

Features I would like on twitter: a way to schedule twitter lockouts for myself. Like, just completely prevent me from accessing twitter from, say, 10pm to 11am or something.

i absolutely recommend UnDistracted. the best chrome extension i've downloaded. you can add custom webpages to block, you can set a "pause" between certain hours, etc. the only problem is that you can easily pause, but that is nothing that a strong will cant surpass

Unplug the router. Many have ‘parental control’ software that allows to to cut off specific devices from wifi on a schedule.

If you're on a Mac, check the Parental Controls preferences, under System Preferences. Details vary among OS versions, but you can usually set times when an app is unavailable or limit total time in an app. You can also turn off the blocks, but that extra step may discourage you.
