@BretDevereaux are you going to cover chevauchee at some point? Or something more in-depth on the evolution of warfare strategies, e.g. “deliver the siege” (as you’ve mentioned) etc. ?
What do you mean? I suppose we haven't discussed raiding very much as a strategy, but we've discussed sieges and siegecraft a fair bit.

Yes, I mean as a part of a “the evolution of methods of warfare”…where pre-historic warfare was ambushes and raids on villages, plus ritual battles (according to A. Gat); then ancient warfare..then medieval warfare was raiding, sieges, and infrequently battles, then early Modern
