Left unspoken here is that *of course* the Neo-confederates would survive the apocalypse. Although to be fair to the Fallout series, it *does* let you shoot a lot of slavers, which has a lot of the same appeal.
My favorite fallout 4 moment was the realization that I did not have to work for the Nuka-World slave-raiders and could, in fact, just absolutely wreck them and turn the park back over to the people they had enslaved. Honestly, a great *really* extended combat sequence.
