A brief google search seems to confirm that no one uses the term 'Spartaganda' to refer to all of the Laconophilic nonsense that gets put out in the popular culture. So I am coining that term. 300? Spartaganda. Gates of Fire? Spartaganda. Spartan races? Spartaganda.

Yes, we have other terms for this - Le Mirage Spartiate and Laconophilia. Where I think spartaganda differs from those is that it is even less tutored in the actual source material. It is Sparta, dimly but positively remembered just through Plutarch, or 'that one class.'
