Reminder to always check source text in footnotes; found a typo in a footnote to the otherwise very excellent Erdkamp, Hunger and the Sword (1998), where App. Bel. Civ. 4.122 is typo'd as 5.122. Easy mistake to make and why when researching one checks the original text!

Original text is ἱππεῦσι δισχιλίοις "two thousand horsemen" - victory to Erdkamp.
