Alright, for those playing along at home, my #SMH2021 paper panel (w/ @DominicMachado1 @DrMichaelJTayl1 @ProfPaul_J ) is at 10:30(am, ET) tomorrow (5/22).
The online feed is only for folks registered for the conference, but @DrMichaelJTayl1 said he might live-tweet it.
And if you are in person at SMH and haven't said hello...well, what the hell? Get on that. In any event, I am going to be talking about Roman (chain)mail armor for just under fifteen minutes (honestly, I am the least interesting paper in this panel).
That said, failure to attend is only forgivable if you are instead going to @SDeCasien 's paper (which is at the same time! Why!? They put every single ancient milhist paper in the same time block!) on - and I quote - "Ancient Roman Naval Rams as Objects of Phallic Power"
