We can't help but ask why we hate Hitler, Stalin, Saddam Hussein, Idi Amin and other such men who cast themselves in that same role - we can't help but ask why we hate them and yet aren't suppose to hate Alexander or Napoleon or Frederick der Grosse or Caesar.

And slowly coming to the correct conclusion that if there was a Caesar or an Alexander or a Napoleon today, we ought to hate them too.
