What about CK3, do you have a blog post or opinions?
I have some initial thoughts here: https://acoup.blog/2020/09/11/miscellanea-my-thoughts-on-crusader-kings-iii/ … but I also plan to give it the full Teaching Paradox treatment at some point in the future. Overall, I think it's a good foundation which will hopefully see expansions fleshing out the space outside of Europe.
I really like playing norse vikings, wessex and the karlings at the 867 start date, but at the same time I find there are a lot of problems with the ERE - it is much too stable. Hopefully they'll address it in the future as well.
