And that's a standard that also makes it easy to identify the bad-faith actors who use 'cancel culture' whinging as a shield while they go about their own ruthless cultural project trying to get anyone who disagrees 'cancelled.'

What is the problem with saying “cancel culture”? Is the implication of how its been usead, or some kind of inaccuracy?

I think it focuses on the wrong things and the wrong people. The focus ends up on powerful people being 'cancelled' (who end up generally not losing their lucrative TV shows and large national platforms), which isn't where I think the issue is.
