One of the few blanket bans I can get behind.
I remain convinced of the opinion that social media companies should ban state actors on their platform who represent countries who ban the platform. Governments which don't let their own people see twitter shouldn't be on twitter.

This also makes sense from a purely selfish perspective: if a country has banned Twitter within its borders, there isn't much else it can do to retaliate if Twitter bans its officials, so Twitter should have an incentive to demand wider access in exchange for not banning *them*.
