The idea that someone can be called out for serially abusive behaviour and just delete Twitter and lay low for awhile before picking back up as if nothing ever happened and without even a semblance of apology should be surprising but then cishet white men exist so here we are.
I find at least a little bit of comfort in the fact that it didn't work - the 'quiet' return was immediately noted and rebuked. But it was exactly what I had expected and still deep garbage.
