Agreed. One of my concerns is that the US will subsidize vaccines for citizens but then let the companies hike the prices when sending doses elsewhere.

That is precisely my worry. And that in the years it will take to vaccinate the world like that, we'll end up with a new strain that can beat our vaccine.
