You telling me Potlamtic Egypt armies didn't look straight out of the mummy?
With Total War: Rome getting a remaster...I'm going to end up having to do a dive into how much of the material culture of Roman/Hellenistic armies they get wrong, aren't it? (most of it?) I can tell I'm a bit burned out, because I'm more exhausted than excited by the prospect.
