One thing I was wondering. When the whole thing is done, could you find a good read to link to that discusses how the early stages of the Industrial Revolution drastically altered the textile production chain?
Honestly, I may eventually write that myself - putting an industrial revolution addendum on both textiles and iron production, since they undergo big changes.
That would be pretty awesome. It never ceases to amaze me just *how much* we've automated the production chain for basic physical resource extraction - whether agricultural or mineral.
And that point redoubles for the processing of those resources. Steel mills and food processing plants would have struck our ancestors as not merely magic, but a gift from God(s).
