And the whole thing has that high-school-gossip vibe where everyone (but you) seems to know who we are not-so-secretly rubbishing this week - but if you don't know what the latest is, no one is going to tell you.
Overall, I haven't been around here for long (second twitterversary in May), but I think - much like conferences - the positives outweigh the negatives so long as you can take the time and afford the air-fare, but the negatives are real and can be big downers.
If only twitter would add really good rolling book sales, it would both complete my analogy and offer another point in favor of our crazy birdsite.
