My non academic husband was aghast when I told him what an adjunct might make per course taught. Can some folks tell me what rates they've seen in the States per course so I can show him? #AcademicChatter
There was a google doc one time which contained a whole big set of rates from the 2019/2020 academic year: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1mWZL98MP01YNrPFmg9NOi4b1CmoPWh2r33nxjss40xI/edit?usp=sharing … There's a lot of variance, but most of them are embarrassingly low.
