Serious question. Why don't most (nearly all) academic tweeters not have their institution in their bio? So I can find them and their cv? (I do, for the record). Seriously, am I missing something? Some liability or other?
Not sure. I have a link to my blog on my twitter profile and my CV is there so I'm not hiding much. Also, I needed the character-space in my bio for the all-important, mandated-by-the-laws-of-gods-and-men Dark Souls reference.

A lot of the academics (maybe most?) I fellow (an admittedly small sample) have their institutions listed. But those who don't may want their Twitter account to be seen as more "personal" than professional. Which strikes me as reasonable.
