Oh, lord. Even just the splash page before the paywall makes the subtweet-y nature of this obvious. I agree completely. Tired just looking at it..
I mean, the 'debate' keeps faltering on the same problems - the reformers use often overheated rhetoric to suggest typically fairly modest changes to the field, and then the traditionalists react entirely to the rhetoric and not to the proposed changes.
