Can we say then that we reproduce a sort of Rome-oriented bias?
I mean, that's just it. The 'Hellenistic' as often presented is a side show, because after 323 the 'story' shifts to Italy. That's how I was taught in undergrad (but not how I teach), with the Greek world coming first and then basically ending, followed by Rome.
