They literally have someone reading his tweet out via bullhorn as people storm into the building. So yes, evidently it did.

I believe the video of the guy reciting the tweet word for word to a crowd and then telling them Mike Pence is a traitor, followed by the well known videos showing people then hunting for Mike Pence, calling for his death. I believe the evidence of my own eyes.

He did say a couple times to stop acting violently, in the middle of the riot. Which isn't enough for me to be happy with him, but which is a hell of a lot better than nothing.
