I haven't taught using the Kamm (though I know of it), I've always used the Boatwright/Gargola/Lenski/Talbert though of course it mostly abandons most of the early books of Livy as historically dubious.
So the second one is a but the first one is a solid 10/10 on the Yikes! scale.
What textbook is this and when in the late 1800s was it written?
