Which...well, I've been playing a lot of SW: Squadrons, and let me tell you...f*** Y-Wings. It's like trying to drive a school bus through No Man's Land at the Somme.

At some point, I need to write this up, but I actually thing the decentralized nature of the Empire actually makes a lot of sense but also explains why the Rebellion could work. It's not a 'people's rebellion, but a prince's rebellion - Palpatine's vassals ganging up on him.

Anyway, f*** Y-Wings, A-Wings for life, but also my K/D is best in the TIE-Interceptor, so

I've seen good Y-Wing play, for sure, but not done by me. I fly a decent TIE-Bomber, but a rubbish Y-Wing. If I need to do capital damage, I have an X-Wing loadout with torps.

The issue for me is getting the gatling to the target under the shields. With TIEbomber, you can use power shifting to hard boost straight through, come to a stop next to the shield gen, under the shields, transfer everything to lasers and nuke the generator in seconds.
