the hyperbolic talk of how democracy nearly died is being used to justify a new "war on terror"; the predictions over a decade ago that such a war would be waged at home against the citizens came true, but its being celebrated. Acting off of fear is a damned venture.
I see no evidence for that sort of overreach. A bunch of folks who broke federal laws live on TV have been charged with crimes they committed...on live TV. Where is the extrajudicial overreach?

Is it Twitter? Please. Twitter is a private company. It can do business or not do business with whomever it pleases. There are plenty of alternatives to Twitter and the one person complaining the most about 'twitter censorship' has a Press Secretary.

To be clear, the guiding star in the defense of democracy should be the Law. But I see no signs at all that the law or the constitution is being abandoned in the pursuit of the insurrectionists. Even the traitors are getting due process, as well they should.
