The Dems never gave Trump credit for his win. They undermined his presidency with false conspiracies and deep state coups. They acted like perfectly, disciplined bolsheviks throughout his entire term. There will be no healing and unity; false hope you have I'm sorry to say.
The 'way out' is admitting the results of the election, that those results were fairly arrived at and that President Trump's recent actions are a betrayal of our democracy and deserve at least censure and shame, if not impeachment and removal. Those who are appalled at the insurrection can seize control of their party from the fools, or leave the party. The "give them a way out party" aren't really talking about the ones appalled at it.

Yeah, that's really my point. The way out is obvious. The folks screaming 'give them a way out' just don't want to take it because it is painful. 'No way out' is not the same as 'the way out is hard.'
